Well. . .Where to start. Simply put, I love this piece very very much. There is nothing in this piece I would drastically change, at all. As a matter of fact, it's hard finding anything I would change at all. The wind is making the grass sway, and you are in a forested, mountainous area, so the atmosphere is very proper. Even noticed the birds in the background, and the fact that there are shadows casted on the grass from the characters. Usually i'm used to pieces having mostly warm or cool colors, but you managed to mix both sides in perfectly. The detail on the dragon and the warrior is simply breathtaking. The soldiers are just in the background chillin, which kinda gives a nice vibe to the picture, like the warrior is saying "I'm going to recruit this dragon so don't be alarmed". Everything just feels right. Job well done.

I think its a decent, balanced painting. I find the background a bit busy, you could almost have no clouds. And mountains don't need to be as detailed. It also is a bit dark in color but that could be me. I just feel the background could recede more and the dudes on the right could not be there. Composition is important.

Yeah on 2nd glance the guys on the far right arent that detailed at all. So I dont know what you were going with with them.

The color is a bit bland as well on the dragon (or thru out really), that i guess if you want to consider, or start considering a light source, ie the sun - is it midday? Is it morning? You can create some really interesting things when considering light, or false light for an added dramatic effect, similar to classical painting, chiaroscuro.

Experiment with color more as the whole painting is rather flat.

Other than that I think you have a good feel for landscapes and the hay field is nicely rendered and so is the fur and cape.

I don't really know if the design of the dragon works or not, but since everything has a sort of non-traditional fantasy feel it works. Its just that the central figures in the painting are super flat.

Also, that arm is super awkward. Check some anatomy stuff or real armor, as well as hands.

Wow! Amazing work! Love it!

I was wandering if you could let me us this image for an Android game called "Kingdoms of Myth", it's turn based strategy game based on a fantasy World. You can find a little bit more info in this rough website made by my colleges [link] (Sorry for the bad English). Of course you will have full credits of your work and link to your webpage if you want :)

Lot of thanks for your time ;)
